Phoenix Brickwork were appointed by Balfour Beatty to construct a new build carehome in Darley Dale, Derbyshire. The scheme consisted of vast amounts of blockwork, dry-stone set walling, ashlar detailing around openings, traditional dry-stone walling, repairing of existing drystone boundary walls and stone rainscreen cladding split over 5 levels.
The project received a Commendation at the Stone Federation Great Britain 2016 award ceremony.
